Do you require authorisation to use the API

Yes, all customers are unable to utilize the platform without one. Please contact the support team if you have any issues in this regard.


Because of the way we utilize our capacity in our managed solution, we are able to scale laterally via several locations within the region while also being able to burst into flexible bare metal & cloud solutions once capacity is reached.


What is the difference between a location and a region?

For Gameye we use the **regions **to determine where players are placed when grouped together via your chosen matchmaker, we then utilise the **locations **as a way to load-balance the distribution of players across the region.



Gameye is not free but we do offer studios the opportunity to use the platform ‘free of charge’ early in the game process and as a way of testing the integration & application of the platform. In this phase of the Gameye ecosystem, no dynamic scaling is provided.
